Reading Time: 3 minutes

Who has been fiery hot? and Icey cold this week in the EPL and FPL? Also who is leading the EPL after 5 games? Find out here
Just a quick re-cap on the ladder this week:

Image
Chelsea:
HOT: Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill
COLD: Torres, Oscar had no impact after his mid-week blockbuster against Juventus.

Man UTD: HOT: Rafael
COLD: Ferdinand, doesn’t deserve a internation spot, even after Terry retired from International football, Evra, had no impact on FPL scoring after playing all 90 minutes against Liverpool.

Everton: HOT: Baines (worth every cent), Fellaini who is just getting better and better.
COLD: Osman let himself down with that yellow card, but not really none as a proven FPL star or premium scorer.

West Brom: HOT: Lukaku who Chelsea should recall without having a striker that can score, Foster.
COLD: Yacob who like Osman let himself down with a stupid yellow card, other then that no other cold players.

Arsenal: HOT: Koscielny, Santi Cazorla.
COLD: Arteta, Podolski, and Mertersacker.

Fulham: HOT: Berbatov who has really impressed since moving to Fulham, Duff who keeps on impressing, and Rodallega.

Man City: HOT: Lescott, Silva who is getting a little better each match and a current bargain at 9.6.
COLD: Toure who isn’t scoring goals and assisting and looks to be playing a more defensive role as usual, and Mancini who keeps using this rotation policy.

Tottenham: HOT: Bale playing as his second position of LB, just imagine if his placed as a Defender in FPL next year, and Defoe.
COLD: Dempsey, and Dembele havn’t impressed yet after leaving Fulham for the Spurs.

West Ham: HOT: Nolan is the only hot player for West Ham this week.
COLD: Jussi Jaaskelainen put a stop to his good form with only a 1.

Newcastle: HOT: Ben Arfa who could’ve had a lot more points if a certain player didn’t take his penalty (talk about it in the cold section), Ba did well with a 9.
COLD: My venting section for Papiss Cisse who took the penalty, he literally took the ball from Ben Arfa’s hands, and the justice was served where Papiss missed the penalty which not only ruined Ben Arfas score (who was my captain, those of you who follow me on twitter would know how pissed off I was) but also ruined his own score, IDIOT!

Swansea: HOT: No real hot players for the Swans this week after a disappointing loss to Everton.
COLD: Michu for not capitalizing on his chances to score.

Sunderland: HOT: Larsson, Fletcher.
COLD: Sessengnon for being a big FPL flop this year.

Stoke: HOT: Defenders for Stoke were robbed of a clean sheet this week after Ash Cole’s 85th minute goal (coming from a Chelsea supporter)
COLD: Although saying that Walters who had the first real opportunity for the game did nothing else for the game after that, only scoring 2 points.

Aston Villa: HOT: Bent the only player on the Aston Villa list to get over the score of 5.
COLD: The whole team, so many negative scores there in that list.

Wigan: HOT: Kone is hot, but sacrificed Schwarzer and other Fulham defenders for scoring in the last minutes of the game!
COLD: Everyone else.

Southampton: HOT: Mr. Nathaniel Clyne, is my hero this week after being my bench cover for Vermaelen, Lambert also killed it this week scoring a huge 13 points.

Norwich: HOT: No real hot players this week.
COLD: Pretty much the whole team.

Liverpool: HOT: Gerrard played well for a change, scoring once and collecting 9 points.
COLD: The rest of the team, and the ref who gave the red card to Shelvey, obviously didn’t see Evans go in with both feet with studs up, poor effort ref.

QPR: HOT: Bobby Zamora did well with 7 points, other than that nobody else.
COLD: The rest of the team.

Reading: HOT: Nobody either from Reading who is hot.
COLD: The whole team, especially Pogrebnyak for promising so much in the first few gameweeks then giving us this rubbish! I’ve had enough so I traded him out for Lambert.

Anyone guys this is the HOT AND COLD this week, put a comment down there if you agree, or disagree, will be back next week.. also Liverpool and QPR get better guys, and give a follow to @FPLAddicts on twitter for all your FPL needs and me @JimbobFiore for all my updates, ask me anything about FPL!

Nice article…also have read this morn that Tevez played a full game overnight ( including ET??) …surely rested this week vs Fulham. Just did Tevez to Ba for a 4 pt hit. Very keen to bring in Silva in the next few weeks to cover a City attacker.

thanks mate, and yep tevez played a full game so with that i traded him out for berbatov, and traded out pogreb for lambert to give my attack a new face, next week i’ll be going podolski to aguero, but i got to see how they both play, and yeah i am quite happy to bring in silva soon since we all know what his capeable of doing

Hi is taking Tevez out for Aguero worth a 4 point hit or shall I wait till GW7 and hope Agueros price doesn’t rise?

Or should I stay away from tevez & aguero altogether as rotation risk currently have ba & defoe upfront.

    Thanks

hey mate, Im currently waiting out the gameweek to see if i should get Aguero back in for podolski, but if you currently have Ba and Defoe up forward they can be used in rotation aswell with Cisse and Adebayor to be taking or partnering up these spots, so really the choice is yours, id currently just wait out the week and see how aguero performs

    I have currently two options.
I have 4.6m in the bank.

    1. Tevez –> Van Persie and Vermaelen –> Baines
    OR
    2. Hangeland –> Baines and leave 2.4m in the bank.

Thoughts on what I could do would be appreciated!!
