Just a warning…these teams are so provisional it’s not funny. Picking rotation risks on boxing day AND the week after are going to be nearly impossible… so I’ve bolded people I’m certain will play. (Well 90% sure) Enjoy! Ps it is 3am in  England on Christmas night… Forgive old Seags here… 🙂 he may have had a few too many berbatov sundaes 🙂

 Everton v Wigan

Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Osman, Gibson, Neville, Anichebe, Pienaar; Jelavic.

Heitinga started last week but I think that could have been for rotational purposes. Pienaar has to play with Fellaini out.

Al Habsi; Boyce, Caldwell, Figueroa; Stam, McArthur, McCarthy, Beausejour; Kone, Di Santo, Maloney.

Caldwell was apparently very close to play Arsenal so he should come into the backline. Di Santo and Maloney are rotation risks with Gomez raring for a start. Jones could also come into the midfield.

Fulham v Southampton

Schwarzer; Riether, Hangeland, Hughes, Riise; Dejagah, Sidwell, Baird, Kacaniklic; Berbatov, Rodallega.

Berbatov should play, as should the defence (maybe minus Riether though.) Duff is injured, while Diarra is a doubt meaning either he or Baird will play at CM. Petric is out also meaning Berbatov will definitely start, but Karagounis poses a threat to Rodallega after starting last week.

Gazzaniga; Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Shaw; Schneiderlin, Davis; Puncheon, Ramirez, Rodriguez; Lambert.

Rotation will hit Southampton… with names like Do Prado, Mayuka, Ward- Prowse, Fox and Cork missing from this provisional XI I’m certain it will change. I wouldn’t pick any players with any degree of certainty, besides the back three and RamirezLambert has made being rotated a habit earlier in the season and could be subject to it again here.

Stoke v Liverpool

Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Wilkinson; N’Zonzi, Whelan; Walters, Shotton, Etherington; Jones.

Shotton could become Adam, while Whelan could swap with WhiteheadEtherington has Kightly breathing down his neck while Jones is the riskiest with Crouch on the pine at the moment. Luckily the clean sheet machine should be safe!

Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique; Allen, Lucas, Gerrard; Downing, Suarez, Sterling.

Down back the only thing that could really happen is Wisdom to play over Enrique, but after thumping Fulham Rogers won’t want to change much. Henderson, Sahin or Shelvey could come into that midfield, while Suso is a threat up front. Suarez will definitely start though.

QPR v West Brom

Cesar; Onuoha, Nelsen, Hill, Fabio; Wright-Phillips, Faurlin, Mbia, Mackie; Taarabt; Cisse.

QPR have so many players at the same level picking an XI with any deal of confidence becomes tricky. With Green, Ferdinand, Traore, Granero, Derry and Diakite on the roster rotation is inevitable. Wright-Phillips missed out midweek but I think he could be back as QPR looked flat in the midfield and could use his spark. Cisse‘s only threat comes from Mackie who has the potential to switch forward. Taarabt is the only really fantasy relevant player here- he is nailed on.

West Brom

Foster; Jones, Olsson, McAuley, Popov; Odemwingie, Mulumbu, Morrison, Fortune, Brunt; Long.

Jones could become ReidPopov could be Ridgewell, while even Odemwingie is at risk from DorransFortune is in line to play on the right, while Long will face stiff competition from Lukaku.

Tottenham v Aston Villa

Lloris; Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, ; Sandro, Dembele; Bale, Dempsey, Lennon; Defoe.

Gallas was benched last week and I’m 75% sure he’ll start this week. Vertonghen and Walker are locks, while Dembele, BaleLennon and Defoe are all more or less indispensable. Adebayor is a risky pick, while Dempsey would require massive cojönes to leave on your field.

Aston Villa

Guzan; Lowton, Herd, Clark, Baker, Bennett; Westwood, Bannan, Holman; Benteke, Weimann.

Another tricky XI to play. In all honestly, you’ll only either have Benteke or Guzan, who are both locks. Avoid all others if possible.

Man City v Sunderland

Man City

Hart; Zabaleta, Nastasic, Kompany, Clichy; Y Toure, Garcia; Aguero, Silva, Milner; Tevez.

Toure is indispensable while Nastasic is only 19, so he should bounce back fine. Silva is crucial to their attacks, while Aguero would be second in line for a rest behind TevezDzeko and to a lesser extent Balotelli are HUGE chances here, with Tevez most likely to make way.

Mignolet; Gardner, O’Shea, Cuellar, Rose; McClean, Larsson, Colback, Johnson; Sessegnon; Fletcher.

Seeing as we haven’t seen much of the second stringers from Sunderland this year, picking their rotations becomes pretty tricky. Johnson and Larsson are huge doubts, while Bardsley is a massive chance to be included at RB, moving Gardner to the mids and earning Larsson a rest.

Chelsea v Norwich

Cech; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; Luiz, Ramires; Mata, Oscar, Marin; Torres.

Marin, Mata, Hazard and Moses will fight it out for two spots, with a rested Oscar a pretty much certain inclusion. Ramires will surely step in for Lampard who is by David Luiz’s description “very old”. Terry is still out which means Cahill and Luiz are certain starters.

Bunn; Martin, Bassong, Turner, Garrido; Tettey, Johnson; Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Pilkington; Morison.

Holt will miss with his hamstring, but the fantasy relevant Bassong will start, as SHOULD the midfield three.

Reading v Swansea

Federici; Cummings, Pearce, Mariappa, Shorey; Kebe, Karacan, Leigertwood, McAnuff; Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre.

Reading have been a rotation machine all year… but they’re still rubbish and nobody should be fielding their players.

Vorm; Tiendailli, Chico, Williams, Davies; Agustien, Ki, De Guzman; Routledge, Michu, Dyer.

 Newcastle v Man United

Krul; Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Santon; Marveaux, Anita, Perch, Guitierrez; Ameobi, Ba.

The backline should be set, while Cisse is a massive risk, as Ameobi came on for him and proved the difference v QPR. Ba will start no doubt though.

Man United

De Gea; Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Young; Welbeck, Van Persie.

Rooney is a massive risk after playing like a blindfolded pensioner last week, but RVP is nailed on. I honestly can’t say I’m 100% elsewhere though, with FletcherSmalling, Jones, Giggs, Rooney and Cleverley left out of this XI. I could even see SAF handing Buttner a second league start.

Pretty good effort just to get this written up 😛 Agree with pretty much everything. Only thing is Ruiz is a chance for Fulham, for Berba’s sake I hope he plays.

Good work, almost impossible to guess teams at this time of year. Just saw Rooney is determined to atone for his bad day against Swansea so hopefully that means he will play most of the games during this time!
