There was a sense of getting back to normal to this week… It feels normal having a two normal gameweeks in a row, with normal games, on normal days. The results were kind of normal too… All the top teams that should get clean sheets did, plus the other top teams that don’t usually get clean sheets didn’t. You could suggest that it was nearly predictable… Which only means that the upcoming gameweek is going to be a POD belter!
Welcome back to another edition of the captains. After a relatively straight forward week last time out, we have some big decisions on our hands. The big 3 forwards obviously stand out, but there could be some potential elsewhere with no player really standing out. Let’s take a look at the options… Continue reading
Hello and welcome to another addition of the News Wrap. It’s getting down to the business end of the season now with the title seemingly Liverpool’s to loose. With only 3 gameweeks left, 1 a double gameweek, it is critical that your trades are methodical but also slightly different, in the hope to jump a few thousand rankings over the remaining few weeks. Enough of that, lets analyse a big gameweek 36!
It’s getting harder and harder coming up with new and exciting ways of starting this Dream Team article ever week… I’ll let the picture do that for me. What a cracker!?!
I hope we all had a great Easter break and got heaps of choccies to munch on! If you caught some of the EPL games this weekend you would’ve been rewarded with some great performances. Liverpool solidified the top spot with Chelsea losing at home for only the 2nd time in Jose’s 2 stints as gaffer (with the ref holding no blame whatsoever, apparently). Mr Moyes’ tenuous grip on gainful employment took a battering at the old lady that is Goodison Park, and Man City gave a professional performance away to West Brom overnight. Arsenal turned back the clock to when they actually looked like a team that gave a hoot and in turn kept hold of 4th spot by the slimmest of margins. The upcoming round looks like it could be a belter as well… But let’s not get ahead of ourselves… Continue reading
Welcome to a quick fire edition of the captains. Why you may ask? Because there is only 2 real contenders! Continue reading
Hello and welcome to another addition of the News Wrap. We’re fresh off the back of a double game week, unfortunately an unsuccessful one for most, meaning rotation could come into consideration this weekend. Frustrating niggles to key players seemed to be the main talking point of the double game week, lets get stuck into it and see if they’re likely to feature this weekend!
That was a looooong game week… I don’t know about any of you but this round didn’t quite go to plan in the FPL world, don’t even get me started on the real world! Some of the great hopes in Yaya and Davey Silva didn’t quite fire as expected and those that traded early for Aguero wouldn’t exactly be popping bottles of champagne. Just a quickie this week as it’s a long weekend coming up and I need to get the party started…
FYI – Coles = 71 points up to 9th and Curnow = 66 up to 17th, BOOM! Continue reading
