One thing’s for sure, Suarez is gone. Rogers has replaced him with half of the Southampton lineup though, which is a nightmare for FPL managers. Why? Rotation, rotation, rotation!
Hello and welcome to the final edition of Most Popular for this pre-season. We’ve analysed the most popular Goalkeepers, Defenders and Midfielders already so now it’s time to get to the men’s end of the ground, the forwards!
Alright, let’s just get these guys out the way as fantasy wise, there ain’t much that makes my penis dance.
A lot depends on their formation, which changes from a 3-5-2, to a 4-4-2, to a 3-4-1-2 depending on which side of the bed Steve Bruce gets out of.
Everton have been relatively quiet this transfer window, which makes me think (like Crystal Palace), they’ve got a bit more work to do. They have just signed Bosnian Muhamed Besic, but as a defensive midfielder he’s hardly going to jump into your FPL sides.
Let me start by warning you that this will probably not reflect the Crystal Palace XI that they take into the season. Pulis has confirmed that their transfer window is nowhere near done, and with gaping holes at LB and CM, I tend to agree that he needs to get off his arse and sign some players.
Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Around the Grounds. All clubs have now played at least one pre-season game meaning we’ll start to get a good look at how teams and certain players are performing, lets get into it!
Time we look at the blue side of London now. Chelsea have acted swiftly and breathtakingly successfully this transfer window, wrapping up most of their inclusions a month out from the season start. In Filipe Luis, Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and DIDIER DROGBA (!!) they’ve filled literally every hole on their list, and now boast a 2nd XI that could probably make the top 6.
